PhD position in theoretical quantum optics

We are currently inviting applications from motivated candidates to join our group with a PhD studentship to work on Theoretical Quantum Optics . The candidate will undertake theoretical research on the physics of driven-dissipative quantum optical systems, with a focus on applications for imaging and sensing. We offer a 3-year PhD studentship to start in late 2020. The position will be held at the Condensed Matter Research Center IFIMAC at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a prestigious research center of international excellence located in the sunny and vibrant Spanish capital.
The studentship is funded by my La Caixa Junior Leader Project, which is part of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 847648.
